Best Product for Rare/Orphan Diseases

The Prix Galien India Award for Best Product for Rare/Orphan Diseases is open to any medicine that has been developed to prevent, cure and/or treat a rare or orphan disease that has had a significant, positive impact on improving patient lives.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Products must have received marketing approval in the India by December 31, 2023, but not more than five years earlier than December 31 of that year (unless the award is for a new/ innovative indication added within the past five years).

  • We accept nominations for individual products, not classes of products. We assume that nominees possess permission of the current owner(s) of the product rights.
